How many times can I renew or extend my pawn ticket? +

No Limit (Tiada Had). You can renew your pawn ticket as many times as needed. You only need to pay the accumulated monthly interest before the expiry period to extend the loan cycle, without having to clear the full principal amount at once.

1. What documents are required to pawn items? +

Malaysian citizens only need to present their original MyKad (Identity Card). For foreigners, please bring your valid original Passport. Customers must be 18 years of age or older.

2. What is the interest rate charged? +

Our monthly interest rate is statutory and does not exceed a maximum of 2.0% per month, strictly governed under the Pawnbrokers Act 1972 by KPKT. There are no hidden fees or charges.

3. What is the allowed pawn holding duration? +

The statutory pawn holding duration is 9 months only (6 months base contract + 3 months statutory extension). You can redeem your items at any time within this period.

4. What if I cannot redeem within 9 months? +

Do not worry! If you face financial constraints, contact or WhatsApp us at +60 10-389 2927 or call 05-548 2929 before the due date. We are always ready to discuss and help you renew your pawn ticket.

5. How long does the appraisal and cash disbursement take? +

The authentication verification, weighing, pawn ticket issuance, and instant cash handover take approximately 5 to 10 minutes directly at our branch counter.

6. What should I do if I lose my pawn ticket? +

Please visit our Bercham branch immediately with your original MyKad. We will assist you in filing an official replacement declaration under KPKT statutory regulations to protect against unauthorized redemption.

7. Are my pledged items stored safely? +

All pledged items are stored in heavy-duty bank-grade security vaults protected by statutory fire and burglary insurance, security access control, and 24/7 CCTV surveillance.

8. What is the loan amount range available? +

We offer cash loans ranging from as low as RM100 up to RM100,000 and above, subject to current market valuation of your gold weight or collateral condition.
